Throughout his life Roger jumped at the opportunity to help family, friends, or strangers. Remodeling a bathroom for an in-law, painting an apartment for a niece or jump starting a car for a stranger he would not hesitate to offer his time and assistance. Roger gave his time to others consistently throughout his life as a little league coach, becoming the family “Mr. Fix It”, teaching elders how to play pool, and operating a BINGO for the residents in the building he lived in.

Henry had a generous and giving heart - he enjoyed visiting local thrift stores and would often thoughtfully choose unique gifts for those he loved. She is survived by her sister, Sandra Holbrook of Milton, as well as Sandy’s son, Gary and his wife Tammy and their two children, Jamie and Kayla and several nieces, nephews and their families. He was predeceased by his wife, Marion, his son, Dale, his daughter, Mary Willette and all his brothers and sisters.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 21, 2019 at 2pm in Elmwood-Meunier Funeral Chapel, 97 Elmwood Ave., Burlington with visitation beginning at 1pm. Memorial Contributions can be sent to be used at the family’s discretion. Amelia Evelyn Voicy Baggs, known as “Mel” to her friends, was a disability rights advocate, writer, poet, artist, lecturer, avid crocheter and lover of cats. Mel lost her fight to live on April 11, 2020 at the age of 39.

On May 5, 1956, to John and Ollie Mae Kirkland, Maxine was the loving sister of her 9 older and younger siblings. Cora devoted much of her time to the Ladies Auxiliaries of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 782 in Burlington and American Legion Unit 57 in Milton . Each program she advocated for, she served with love and pride, including chairwoman of Americanism, Veterans Affairs and Youth & Education. On Aug. 27, 1966, Cora married the love of her life, Marcus J. Wescott. Cora’s family hailed from England and Canada, by way of the Netherlands, and she came from a line of chemists, teachers, waiters, cabinet makers, seamstresses and fishermen. As such, she possessed and passed along her industriousness, special flair, love of detail and creativity.

Bob was a respected businessman who gave much back to his community, local organizations, and individuals. He was a member of the Kiwanis and very involved with their bike program for children. He was active with the Moose and Eagles Clubs and served on the boards of the Burlington Boys Club, Salvation Army, Old North End Business Association, and HUD Housing. Bob was instrumental in helping start Burlington’s First Night and many other community initiatives.

Joan was born on August 3, 1951 in Burlington, the daughter of Earl T. He was predeceased by both parents and his brother, Dion. A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, Apr. 8 at 11am in Lakeview Cemetery, next to his wife, Mary Jean. Those wishing to send a Memorial Donation may send it in Care of the funeral home to be used at the Family’s discretion. Visitation at Elmwood-Meunier Funeral Chapel, 97 Elmwood Ave. will be held Monday, April 18 from 6-7 pm.

She was born on August 5, 1986 at MCHV, the daughter of Ronald and Mary Carpenter. She attended Winooski Grammer, Middle and High Schools, graduating in 2004. She was employed in the deli department at Shaw’s Supermarket in Colchester.

Susan Marie Lynch, 54, passed away unexpectedly at home on Monday, May 4, 2020. She was born in Manchester, NH, on June 7, 1965, the daughter of Gerald and Beverly O’Donnell, sister of Cathy Seeley and Thomas O’Donnell.. On Sunday, July 19, 2020, Heaven gained a new woodworker. Any printing or backyard mechanic needs can now be taken care of in the afterlife. If paradise is searching for a new Cub Scout Leader or just all around awesome father, Rene O. Grimard is now there.

Kevin was raised in Glens Falls, New York and graduated Glens Falls High school where he played football and baseball. Kevin continued his education studying business at Manatee Community College in Bradenton, Florida after the family moved in 1988. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the McClure Miller Respite House, Colchester, VT. Keith was quite the joker, he always knew how to "lighten the moment" in every situation by throwing in a joke or two.

She knew how to speak some words and a childhood rhyme in Lithuanian. She made sure to pass that knowledge and rhyme on to the younger generation of the family. Valerie’s family would like to thank the Howard Center for the support they provided to her in her final years which allowed her to live the life she wanted. Rod graduated from Champlain College with a degree in accounting and his career spanned fifty years in public and private sectors. He truly valued his coworkers and the many clients he served over the years.

Murray, 73, passed away on Monday, Aug. 1, 2022 after a hard fought battle with melanoma. He was born and raised in Burlington, the son of Chester and Thelma Murray and brother to Gail Thompson. Montgomery- -Gregory Edward Berg, 50, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2022. He was born in Berlin, VT on Oct. 8, 1989, the son of Penny Lawder. Per the request of Charles, the funeral will be a private family ceremony. Rita was born on September 7, 1944, the daughter of Raymond, Sr., and Rita Kingsbury.

The family wishes to extend a special heartfelt thank you to Cheri Campbell, a “niece” of choice, who provided excellent care to Joe and Judy in Joe's final weeks. Deb Jorschick and Camp Hochelaga also played an invaluable role in supporting the family. Joe met the apple of his eye, Judy, at a sock hop at BFA High School…and she was not home on time! They married on July 2, 1960, which began their lifelong waltz and never looked back.

He was born in Burlington on January 9, 1960, the son of Donald Paul, Sr. and Joan Carol Francis. In his earlier years, Paul did carpentry and painting with his brother-in-law, Dickie Morrill. Burlington- -Donald Paul Francis, Jr., 61, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Monday, Nov. 15, 2021.
